Bloody School Holidays

I'm sitting here trying to post but I think because its school hols here at the moment every kid in town must be on the net too.

Waiting for any page to load is kinda about exciting as watching paint dry [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]

Well I'll have to try again tomorrow night its just too painful [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img] waiting and I've got a 12 and a half hour shift tomorrow.

I feel you pain on the work thing. I've got a 13 hour shift today myself, that after having to work yesterday when it was suppose to be my day off. Oh well.

Living in dowtown Vancouver sucks during the summer because all the high school kiddies get extended curfews, get drunk, and walk in packs down the street shrieking and singing and fighting and shouting random curse words.
It also bites trying to go anywhere on the Skytrain 'cause it's always packed full of wannabe gangster whiteboys, thirteen year olds in track suits and cheap gold chains along with their harems of girls who are wearing more makeup than I own and tube tops over their half-developed breasts. They are, without fail, headed to Metrotown, the biggest mall in Vancouver and one of the main stop along the way.
When they get older they morph into jocks - packs of three boys with obscene tshirts and gigantic running shoes that cost more than my education and snotty packs of four girls who have cell phones and clothes to match their cellphone cases. They inevitably get off at Granville street, which is a gritty neon strip that actually houses some of the most expensive urban clothing stores, sustained entirely by the suburbia kids.

These numbers triple in the summer, and getting ont he train before 3 no longer makes a difference.

Work sucks and then you die...but you'll be expected in early for a double the next day regardless...
